Rated 5 di 5 di da Great fast Printer Having received the printer I unpacked it and inserted the Ink Toners as per instructions which was an easy and simple process. I then installed the printer and connected it via Wi-Fi to my phone so I could begin the testing process. I tested the printer by printing off a pdf document first which I was quite impressed at the speed of this printer, then I needed to print out another PDF document but did not have much paper to hand so I found using the double sided option was a blessing this enabled me to print what I needed without running out of paper, again the speed of the printing was extremely fast. After I had got more paper I was impressed with how much paper this printer held, I had to print out colour designs for a new wardrobe installation again using the double sided feature was perfect and the quality of the colour photos was higher than expected and saved me from viewing the document on a small screen. PROS: Fast printing time Quality of the prints It is ideal for use at home or in an office environment. CONS: I was unable to install the software on my old windows 7 version computer as it was not supported, but saying that I had no use for this as I could print everything via my phone and tablet.

Rated 5 di 5 di da Great Printer! After having tried this kind of printer quite a few years ago, I wasn't sure exactly how I would feel about it. My last experience with laser printers is that although fast, the quality isn't always up to scratch. There is no such problem with this printer! The experience of setting it up was fast and easy from start to finish. It only took about 10 minutes or so after taking it out of the box to get printing. The prints were good quality and being able to print in colour as well as black and white is great! It's far faster than my old printer and is definitely a great asset to any home office. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 di 5 di da HL-L8240CDW Amazed at the efficency Wow! The HL-L8240CDW is a sight to behold. Came in a big box, and I was super keen to get this open and connected asap! I needed a little help to get this printer out of the box and wanted to make sure I unpacked and connected it all up correctly so took some time to read the instructions and went on the website which was easy to navigate with the QR codes (Super Handy). Once out, it is quick to see this printer is fabulous looking and seems like it will do the job nicely. I have a small business and also work from home, and I am constantly printing all day every day! And this printer seems like it can keep up with my demands straight out the box, so I couldn't wait to get it all set up. The setup was relatively easy, although I had trouble with my WiFi connecting a few times, so I needed some patience and deep breaths. Once set up, it did the usual test prints and ink tests, which all seemed to be fine. Everything was easy to navigate so far, and I was all set up and ready to print my first project. I needed a lot of colour and complex pages - some double-sided some landscape and some portrait. I checked all the settings and pressed print. Took a few moments to warm up, but wow, this brother HL-L8240CDW model was swift and complient. It printed this with ease, and the colours were vivid and vibrant, and the final result looked really, really good, and I'm super pleased with it. I have had a chance to mess about with the options on the printer using the LED screen, and it copies well, and these are easy to follow. I'm still a little unsure of the NFC options and settings at this point. I have downloaded and set up the app, which was easy, but it did take a few failed attempts to connect but printed swiftly. Overall, I would 100% recommend this printer. It's swift, full of trch options for complex prints, and quick to respond. Set up is a tad fiddly but great and fluid. Once done and used to it. The size is perfect, not overly big and bulky, and fits my office space well. I'm very impressed with this printer and can see this lasting me some time.

Rated 4 di 5 di da Much better than expected Having had a range of printers in the past I have had mixed experiences, so was a bit dubious of this one too, however I was not disappointed with it at all. Unboxing was easy, although it needs 2 people as it is a bit heavy, and needs somewhere stursy to palce it. Setup was very simple, with very little time taken from plugging it on to being able to use it taking around 8 minutes, very impressive. Printing was quick, although I felt is could have been quicker at this price. This is the only reason I didn't give the printer 5 starts as the print quality was fantastic and it was simple to print in black & white or colour, single or double sided. The paper tray was a great capacity, and no need to top feed as paper is pulled in from the drawer. All in all a great printer, which I would definitely recommend for light to medium home use. If you are printing a huge amount and/or speed is of the essence a faster model might be better, but for my work needs and daughter's school needs it is perfect.
